Cricket contests in Hero11

A contest starts from a fixture. Fill the spots from the players named for that match, mark a captain, and leave the side when the room locks.

Points come from the match itself: batting, bowling, and fielding on the day. This page does not print a scoring chart. The contest card does, if the contest prints one at all.

Hero11

A fixture comes first

Nothing on this page starts until the app is listing a real match. The heading is not the fixture.

  • Open the match whose two sides you actually meant to follow.
  • A similar team name on another date is a different contest.
  • A postponed match is not the same card with a new title typed here.
  • The venue on the card, if shown, is the one to trust.
  • This hub cannot see which fixtures are live right now.
  • Leave the list if the match name is ambiguous and come back when it is not.

Filling the side

Every pick has to survive contact with the named squad. The article will not add names the squad omitted.

  • Take batters from the squad named for this fixture.
  • Take bowlers from that same squad, not from a favorite attack you remember.
  • Fill a wicketkeeper spot when the selection screen requires one.
  • Use an all-rounder only if the screen lists that player in a role you still need.
  • Do not complete the eleven with a player from the previous day.
  • Do not complete the eleven from a comment under this article.
  • Leave a spot empty until you have a legal name, then fill it before the lock.
  • Read the cricket-side page if you want the longer version of these role checks.

The captain mark

The captain is a mark on the selection screen. This hub does not print a points multiple for it.

  • Set the captain before the room locks.
  • Set the captain inside the app, where the side is actually stored.
  • Do not announce the captain in a comment and treat that as the mark.
  • Change the mark only while the card still allows edits.

The second marked player

If the screen asks for a second mark, it is a separate tap on the same side.

  • Set the second mark before the lock.
  • Do not treat the second mark as a second contest.
  • Do not look for a multiple beside that mark on hero11.club.

Reading the room

The side joins a room. The room is a card with three fields this hub can name and cannot read.

  • Read the entry printed on that card.
  • Read how many spots are still open.
  • Read the lock time on that same card.
  • A full room is not opened by refreshing this page.
  • A missing lock time is a reason to wait, not a reason to guess.
  • The card outranks a sentence in this hub whenever they differ.

Lock time

The lock is the end of the edit window. After it, the hub is just text.

  • Plan the side so the lock is not a surprise.
  • A late toss does not move the lock by itself.
  • A slow broadcast does not move the lock either.
  • Support cannot reopen a lock from this website, because this website does not hold the room.

Points, without a chart on this page

Scoring stays on the card. The hub only names the kinds of play that usually matter.

  • Batting in the match can feed the total inside the app.
  • Bowling in the match can feed it too.
  • Fielding in the match can feed it too.
  • No points table is printed under this heading, on purpose.

More than one room on a match

One fixture can have several cards. They do not share a single entry just because the match name matches.

  • Check the entry on the card you opened, not on the card a friend described.
  • Check the spots on that same card.
  • Check the lock on that same card.
  • Leave a card whose entry you did not mean to use.

While the match is on

After the start, watching is not editing. The locked side is the one that counts.

  • Do not refresh the hub hoping for a new side.
  • Do not treat a wicket in the broadcast as a cue to swap a player.
  • The running total, if shown, is in the account.
  • This page does not stream the match.

After the result

The result belongs to the account. The hub does not post standings.

  • Read the result in the app if the app shows one.
  • Do not expect a payout to appear because this page mentioned the match.
  • A dispute about the result goes to support with the account screen open.

The Android file

You still need the product before any of the cards exist for you. The file check is separate from the cricket checks.

  • Save the Android package from the homepage and compare it with 3,288,315 bytes.
  • The version name on that measured copy is 1.13.f675, which is not a promise about every later file.
  • An iPhone, iPad, or iPod tap opens the contest page instead of saving the package.

Other games, briefly

The app also lists other games, including slots and a spin. This note stays with cricket and does not walk through a casino menu.

What this page will not walk through

No reel names, no paytable, and no second catalog. Open any other tile on the phone if you want its own rules.

  • Cricket rooms remain the subject of every list above.
  • A non-cricket tile is not described by the lock-time bullets on this hub.

Adults

The contest is for adults. The hub does not create an exception because the lists are long.

  • If you are under 18, stop before you join a room.
  • If the playing side or the lock time is unclear, stop even if you are old enough.

Nearby notes

This hub gathers the cricket notes. It does not replace the card, and it does not replace the file check.

  • Tournament fixtures are covered on the IPL page.
  • Building the eleven in more detail stays on the cricket-side page linked above.
